This is what the Ocelot figure by Play Arts looks like in color
Several new MGSV figures in Square Enix’ Play Arts Kai line are on the way, including Punished Snake, Quiet and Ocelot. They were recently displayed at the New York Toy Fair, and now Hideo Kojima posted some photos showing a colored sample of the Ocelot figure.

What do you think? Does it do justice to the legendary Shalashaska?

Looks good on the sample as usual, but the production model will have that burned tan look and bad QC like the other play arts.

I think it was great :D! I like how you edited the scenes, including some sound effects and choosing Not Your Kind of People in beginning was awesome :).
I always think about everything MGS related to be great haha, because I don’t edit videos much myself :P. More of an observer but I should try do some of my own.
P.S. I hope to see more in future ;)!
I font think i did much, this is just from the few videos i had already.. my pc is SO slow that this thing took me 7 hrs because it kept hanging up everytime i tried a different thing.. damn its hard already, more hard with a 900mb ram pc with no directx. 😛
Seriously, though.. tell me how it was and what i can improve on ? Im gonna put all MGS 3 and MGS 5 cutscenes to download over the night, get some sleep and then in the morning start editing my heart out.
Damn 7 hours oh maan, hope you get better pc. I think these days can get pretty good ones with a decent price if have money to spend some time.
I dunno man, I mean I’m noob at making videos so not sure what advices to give ya :(…. If I would be making my own trailer, I bet I would have difficult time thinking of what to add in it, what music etc.
But mixing scenes of MGS3 and V is what I love in fan trailers, like stuff including The Boss and Snake. 🙂

It’s such a shame that Cobra seems to be all but forgotten about, it’s one of the absolute best stupid ’80s action movies, imo.
I’ve always felt sorry for Al Leong being cut out of Cobra. Schwarzenegger, Dolph Lundgren (Twice!), Mel Gibson, Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Chow-Yun Fat, Martin Kove, Brandon Lee, Matthias Hues, Kiefer… he’s been killed by almost all the ’80s action stars EXCEPT Stallone!
I’m glad I was able to grow up watching all these cool action movies :D, with those actors you mentioned. These days it’s all about CGI but back then we mostly had badass actors in badass action movies >:D!
Also love that some of the old movies are just so bad, which actually makes them really awesome!

This is weird o_O, but maybe they could add some new mission for it when TPP is still perhaps far away. As you posted below Sn4ke, Robert mentioned something for Steam users but not sure will we all get something. A new mission could really help with the rest of the long TPP waiting :D.

I wonder who the photographs on the wall of the chopper are meant to be of? MSF soldiers killed during the XOF assault in GZ? Or maybe TPP has a system that keeps a tally of soldiers killed in-game like the old Cannon Fodder games used to?
Could be. But there is also the chance that they are mission targets or something similar.
I thought this too, maybe after Big Boss or his intel team find out necessary mission targets or bosses to kill on his road for revenge. But the “real” story bosses could come out as we progress in story and not knowing much about them beforehand.
So these photos being just from some of the many missions. But then again, in GZ we had all the target info on iDroid so why put them on chopper wall :P.
Well I guess your right. Then what if these photographs are there to show what optional (side) missions you have ”activated” but aren’t your main objective now. Like the side quests in Skyrim (or something similar :D)

Ohhhhhh right. Funny, as much as I enjoyed the Glaz and Palitz mission, I don’t think it’d even crossed my mind that TPP would probably be applying the concept on a grander scale. Though I remember reading something about “bounty missions” being in TPP about a year or so ago, so I guess that’d be an extension of the idea.
After barely escaping from hospital alive, Snake have to start intense training to get back into good shape, trained by Ocelot. In order to return as Big Boss…
I think it will happen similarly as in Rocky, Big Boss being like Stallone and Zero is Dolph! Then in the end of TPP, we shall witness epic showdown between the two :O.

By the way Hard To Kill got some similarities with TPP, especially the waking up from coma after 7 years and then instantly being hunted down by that hitman in hospital! I would post the video but it seems youtube is taking them down 😛
Hardly surprising really, given Kojima’s giant boner for ’80s and early ’90s action movies.
As much as I’m looking forward to TPP though, I think it’s safe to say that it won’t produce anything half as good as Hard to Kill’s blood bank line.
