Death Stranding 5th Anniversary Special Movie and Comment from Kojima

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of Death Stranding, Kojima Productions has released two videos, a 5th Anniversary Special Movie and a comment from Kojima. In the first video, various statistics are shared: over 19 million Porters worldwide, nearly 3 billion packages delivered, and over 1.5 billion kilometres travelled by Porters.

In the second video (in Japanese, but English subtitles are available), Kojima thanks players for their support and for sharing their cosplay and in-game pictures to this day. He concludes by mentioning the team is now working on Death Stranding 2, and that they are in the crucial phase of building up the game. “I have a great feeling about it right now, and I am confident it will be a good piece of work”, Kojima says.

The sequel currently doesn’t have a release date yet, but a special stage was held during this year’s Tokyo Game Show. revealing some new footage and information on the game.
