Kojima arrives in Las Vegas in anticipation of The Game Awards 2014
We’re only hours away until the start of The Game Awards 2014 (for a countdown follow this link), and with it the reveal of Metal Gear Online. Hideo Kojima and several other members of the Kojima Productions staff are already in Las Vegas, where the show will take place starting at 9 EST. Those who can’t make it to the show itself will be able to watch it online through various channels, including PlayStation Network, Xbox Live, Youtube and Twitch. Update: Geoff Keighley just revealed Kiefer Sutherland will be at the show as well. Obviously related to MGSV. Maybe, just maybe… he will announce the release date?

With the revealing of MGO Kojima finally shows the last big part of TPP. First it was the singleplayer, then the motherbase-infiltration and now the multiplayer which is the final part of one huuuge game. I think now the time is right.

Something I’m extremely disappointed about is that TPP isn’t even nominated for the most anticipated game, Are you fuckin kidding me (excuse my language but damn). This has got to be the most underrated game ever and its clearly the best coming up. Other than that I can’t wait for MGO tonight!
I’m split between TPP and Arkham knight as my most anticipated game. Arkham knight is currently ranked number 1 btw. It does surprise me that it isn’t nominated at all though, but there are a lot of good games coming out so it has tough competition.
I don’t think it’s most anticipated for some people, because they haven’t got to know the series like many of us have. They don’t know how super amazing TPP will be.
I share your feelings though :). Is there some official list about the most anticipated games? I’ve read quite a few different lists, and TPP has been at the top in some of them.
That’s what I said I mean ground zeroes is like some people say just a demo and yet is way better than most games and on ps4 looks way better than every other game right now considering that is not next-gen exclusive. That said, imagine what phantom pain could be. How awesome will that game be. I have to say that Phantom pain is my most anticipated game of 2015, to the point that I already gave 30 bucks to preorder the game and it doesn’t even have a release date yet.
I like how it’s underrated, most sites and blogs aren’t even paying attention to it. At least it won’t be like destiny we’re going to get exactly what we expected and maybe even more. TPP is probably the only game I’m really anticipating for next year, maybe The Witcher 3 and No Man’s Sky too but I don’t expect them to be too spectacular.
2015 is gonna be the best gaming year ever. So many amazing games coming, looking forward to TW3 too.
Last time a year had so much good stuff was maybe 1998 for me with MGS1, FF7, RE2 etc.

True 2015 will be great. I’m actually looking forward to a few other games too like The Division, Rainbow Six Siege, FFXV, Quantum Break etc but I’m keeping my expectations in check. Still excited though!

not much a online player but this is the only multiplayer game spend hours and played until servers down if you wanna succeed need skill and teamwork even miss all those crazy people in this game (like cheaters,or somebody around level 3-5 calling you noob) but my only concern is hope this game not turned into a another cheap online shooter because of this http://www.metalgearinformer.com/?p=13070

Goddamit lol, I decided to take a little nap few hours before it start and slept too long -_-.
Anyway it was nice to see Kiefer and Kojima on stage ;), but really a shame we didn’t get a release date. I guess it won’t be coming in the earlier parts of 2015 now :(… I was expecting some special reveal when even Kiefer was there.
MGO looked so freaking epic with that trailer, Minigear, kawaii toy lol and Ocelot 😀 etc !!!
