Konami announces price cut for MGSV: Ground Zeroes (PS4 & XB1)
Konami has lowered the official price for the boxed versions of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. All versions now have a suggested retail price of £19.99/19.99/$19.99, no matter the platform. From the official press release:
As interest continues to escalate for the forthcoming METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN, the new price-point will allow users to practice their sneaking skills ahead of Hideo Kojima’s next epic adventure. The events in METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES dovetail directly into events in METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN. The acclaimed prologue acts as an entry experience and introduces key gameplay components that will be explored in the fifth, full METAL GEAR SOLID epic and as a bridge between the linearity of existing titles and the full open-world environments of METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN.

The game came out in March, and all they did was knock 10 Euros off the price? That’s ridiculous.
I believe price cuts depend on sales. If a game sells bad the price will drop rapidly but if a game sells well the price will not drop easily. We have GTAV for example, it came out more than 1 year ago and it’s still $50-60.
Yes, and they might drop the price again once TPP releases. Also, this is just a suggested price, you will probably be able to find it for less in different stores.

That’s a good price for people who don’t have it yet :). I honestly don’t care how much I pay for a new MGS. 30 € for GZ wasn’t much to me, but I think many didn’t buy GZ because of the price.
Has any on else noticed how snakes eyepatch changes slightly in differnt pictures?
He also has more scars
What I wanna know, is how does Big Boss get all those scars. All over the face and few crossing the left eye too. Yeah some say it’s because of “the crash”, but they don’t crash imo after GZ ending. Because of GDC trailer.
His right arm also has a huge scar. Even the action figures emphasise on this scar. That’s how good of a quality they are. Attention to detail.
Also, the “horn” has moved. When in the first pics it is starting at the same line above the eyebrow/eyepatch, in the other pics, it’s a little above and in the center of the eyebrow/eyepatch.
What I believe is this: The scene where Snake is on his chopper, is early (right after the coma awakening) that’s why we don’t see his ponytail or scars. After that scene, who knows what happened or how many months have passed for Snake to have these new scars, ponytail and of course, the “healing” of the “horn”. I think that if not in the end, at some point in the story we will see the “horn” naturally being pushed out of Snake’s head. (heal)
Or maybe it’s just an older model and people keep overreacting to it.
Perhaps. Or it could mean a symbolic reference to V Snake descending deeper into madness, you know, ‘revenge’ and all the game’s theme they’re going for. Of course, the explanation the game itself is going to give is that, like in real life, the body pushes foreign objects out. So the shrapnel will grow as the story progresses to make things VISUALLY interpreted, if I say so myself. Just like the belt hanging behind him is symbolic to a demon’s tail (I’m paraphrasing Hideo Kojima himself).
Makes one wonder, if the soldiers on the battlefield catches a glimpse of a silhouette V Snake running around, bent-down, like, some sort of demon they’l more than likely think he’s the devil himself.
Yeah, l will not be surprised if it turned out to be.
I thought they said the horn grows according to how the player plays

Oh that’s right, that was from a analysis, because you can see the horn change sizes significantly throughout the trailer
Different Persons, not only do they have the horn in different positions, the hairline is different and the eyes too. It’s all a well made devious plan from Kojima
Keep in mind that you’re looking at a work in progress. If you compare the first MGS4 trailers to the final work, you’ll see lots of characters underwent changes during development. So it could just be that,

Would like for them to label it as a demo and send it our way for free because when TPP comes out GZ will be obsolete, but that would kick everyone who paid for it
At least they should drop the price again when TPP comes out.
I just got a PS4, is the PS3 cross save with PS4? I know you can carry your save GZ>TPP Same console version, but what about last gen>current gen?

With the new system update 2:00, you can now insert an USB stick and use it to play music in the background. Still not exactly what you wanted, but it’s a step in the right direction.
I heard they still planning on doing it directly on HDD.
Still it is better than nothing though.
I was in the same kind of situation my friend ;(… When GZ released I used a different PS4 username, but wanted to change it later when I had played GZ countless hours lol. I wanted to create MGS related username. So for my new PS4 account I had to start gathering trophies etc all over again and lost my saves from old games (I think), even from GZ. Might have been able to copy/transfer them, but nooo too lazy. Think it like this, it gives you a great reason to play GZ again many times before TPP release ;).
Actually, Prince you had the best time to get the console lol :D. No I’m not joking.
PS4 got update 2.00 earlier this week, codenamed Masamune or something lol. It finally brought us USB Mp3 support. So we can’t put music to the console like with PS3. But it’s better than nothing and actually works just fine for me at least :), and also saves PS4 hard drive memory when don’t have to put them there.
Anyway USB stick, drive or iPod works at least. I tried my iPod Classic 80bg yesterday, just plugged it into PS4 and it works perfectly :). Can listen to all those sweet OST and anime songs ;D. Didn’t try it while playing a game, because doing Alien Isolation 1st playthrough, but the music files did play at the main screen.
The simple way Prince to get your music to work, is to create a folder into your USB stick, drive, iPod or whatever named MUSIC. Then just drag all your mp3 music files there. You can drag the album folders too, that include the mp3 files. Then your PS4 should recognize them instantly. Holy crap I ended up writing too much sorry lol Dx .

I still haven’t opened it though. Guess i’ll buy Ground Zeroes and The Evil Within again XD

Me too my friend ;(…me too. First thing I always do when open my PC, is go to Youtube watch MGSV trailers lol, visit here and N4G xD for any possible new info especially on release date :D.
But to think that I have waited for the release date for 2 years, so it feels kinda good that not much left of waiting anymore. Soon we see it, I’m sure of it!
short game or not but honestly i like this game more than watch dogs didn’t play that game since august but still playing GZ and got all trophies try to reach %100 completion can’t wait TPP
The Best thing to do know if you want Ground Zeroes is to wait 1 and a Half Months for the PC, not necessarily get the PC Version, but is most likely that all the version will get another price cut with the PC Release.
