Metal Gear series lifetime sales now at 66.4 million
The Metal Gear series has now sold 66.4 million units, up from 66.1 million, as per Konami’s latest numbers. That means 300,000 Metal Gear games were sold between April and the end of June, a decline from the 600,000 units of the previous quarter.

Next quarter will see the release of Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 2, marking the first time MGS4 will be available on another platform than the PS3, where it originally released back in 2008.
The collection will release on August 27, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, Switch 2 and PC. It contains MGS4 and Peace Walker, as well as Ghost Babel as a bonus.
