Metal Gear series total sales surpass 62.9 million
The Metal Gear series’ total lifetime sales have surpassed 62.9 million units, as revealed by Konami’s latest financial numbers. That means 500000 Metal Gear games were sold in the past three months, as the franchise was at 62.4 million as of the end of last year.

Later this year, on August 28, Konami will release Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC. It will be the first brand new title in the series since 2018’s Metal Gear Survive, although they did release Master Collection Vol. 1, containing remasters of older games. A Vol. 2 is coming as well, but does not have a release date yet.
