Snake can get really dirty in Metal Gear Solid Delta

The official English and Japanese Metal Gear accounts on Twitter have been sharing some short clips from Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, highlighting new features that are going to be in the game. When Snake messes around in the swamps, he may get muddy, and this can also affect his camouflage index. Furthermore, the mud accumulated during gameplay will be reflected on the character model during cutscenes, not just on Snake’s uniform but on his face as well (the same goes for wounds).

Another clip shared last month shows how switching camouflage will work in the remake. In the original game, the player had to go to the menu to select another uniform or face paint, but in Delta, it can be switched in real time, as shown in the video.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will release on August 28th of this year. The game was recently rated by the ESRB, seemingly confirming the Demo Theater from the original will make a return as well.
