Death Stranding surpasses 20 million players

Death Stranding has now reached over 20 million players, Kojima Productions has announced. The game was first released for PlayStation 4 back in 2019, and later came to PC. A Director’s Cut was released in 2021 for PlayStation 5, followed by iOs and recently Amazon Luna and Xbox Series X|S. In November of 2022, Kojima Productions announced that the game had reached 10 million players, and 16 million in December 2023. The sequel, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, is slated for release on June 26 of this year.
