  • Very VERY nice, the suit looks like it fits very well with the idea of Big Boss slowly become the bad guy he’s supposed to become during TPP 🙂
I’d say I have to buy this if the money suddenly decides to become available 😛

Hmm.. Honestly I don’t consider him Big Boss yet until I see him in a trench coat. That’s the first image I’ve ever seen of him. This is Venom Snake we’re looking at.

You mean kind of like the trench coat Kaz is running around with? I’m going to predict that Big Boss ends up with Kaz’s coat.

Ha interesting. Haven’t thought about that. Don’t ever remember Kaz to be known wearing one. Maybe he inherits it the same way he inherited The Boss’ bandana.

  • I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again. That suit is insanely awesome.

Yea it is. Can’t wait to use it in game.

Is it just me or does it seem to be getting farther away from the PW suit and on its way to the MGS1 style suit.

    Reply
    • It does indeed seem that way 🙂
And it’s a good thing too, IMHO, never really liked the PW-style of sneaking-suits, so this is a change I like 🙂

      • Flameeater

I agree. My favorite suit in all of the MGS games has to be the MGS1 style. Octocamo and PW sneaker were my least favorite.

    • It’s okay, if you have Ground Zeroes just import your save and you get the PW/GZ Sneaking Suit for TPP.

    • Lol, have you not seen the trailer with this? It’s entirely meant to be the forerunner to the MGS1 suit.

Looks like they moved the penis-shape down on the back, so you can no longer see the ‘end!’

    • Haha, I was thinking the same thing, They changed it but I couldn’t figure how to word it properly.

Don’t worry, that’s just the figure, you will still get your full penis in game.

  • I wish like hell the head sculpt were more game accurate. I mean, the Quiet looks GREAT, but none of the Snake figures seem to even be trying to achieve that level.

    Reply
  • I love that the face doesn’t look derpy on this figure for once. That’s what always puts me of buying one.

    • The head is pretty much identical to the previous one 😛

I already have the GZ and the first TPP, so I’ll pass on this one, probably.
Mainly because it has the same accessories the other two figures come with.
It’s cool how the design of the sneaking suit looks like the one of Snake in MGS1, though

    Reply
    • Agreed, MGS1 had the best looking sneaking-suit of the currently released games, will be interesting to see if it’s possible to upgrade this one, or if there will be more types of sneaking-suits to develop in TPP 🙂

Would also be very interesting to know if any upgrades to this suit would change it’s appearance accordingly 🙂

        Reply
        • kirtanloorii

I’m not ever certain that this is the last Metal Gear, let alone Uncharted. Sony sure does love their first party games, especially Uncharted. So I doubt that it is the last one. They made three for the PS3 and one for the Vita. It would not surprise me if there were going three for the PS4.

          Reply
        • No it will be the last E3 for uncharted 4 because it will be released before next years E3, presumably Q1- Q2 2016

What?! Where did you get them? I’ve been all over and all I can only find it the un official Playstation mag for last month had little on tpp. It came with a free 20 pg. magazine on the history of mgs (which I planned on scanning an uploading to share with my friends here on mgi)
Is something like that ok here Nyx?……

It really depends on everyone’s definition of a spoiler.

For a game like TPP, much of the narration seems to be conveyed through gameplay and because of that, I find it way too risky to read those previews without a proper filter (like what MGN did for that PlayStation Mag preview, that was a very good job).

Did Big Boss always wore a pony tail? I think i remember him talking to Ocelot after getting back, didn’t put one yet.

Badass sneaking suit 🙂 Definitely my favorite!!

  • Disappointing accessories wise and the lack of alternate head. The same handgun and knife that’s come with every Snake, and the assault rifle is the same one from the GZ Snake minus a sling. Only thing new, besides it being a different outfit, is the AK. And he’s a about 3000 yen more than the previous releases, I don’t understand… Knowing my stupid ass though, I’ll be buying one.

  • reactions: what if after e3 they released a short demo of tpp to play?

A demo…… demo…. demo. demo Demo DEMO! DEMO!

Honestly I have a hard time seeing it because of how much they brag about GZ being the demo and the prologue.

But if we were to get a demo, I would play the hell out of it until the very day TPP is released.

      • id lose 1/3 of my ;ifespan focused on iy 😛

        Reply
    • I would love that :). But still… I might prefer more waiting the remaining days so can play it completely. Not just some demo area and then can’t progress in the story again, like with GZ. It’s painful how it ends, I wanna complete the story :(.

Anyway, if they’d really throw a demo suddenly infront of me, as NP4H said I’d play the hell outta it because couldn’t resist lol :D.

This costume reminds me of Solid Snake in MGS1. The collar, the muscular show-off chest, and the loose material legs kind of show it for me.

I tell ya, if he was real, I’d be gay for him. Might be mostly because of game excitement though.
