Same.. I bought my first collectors guide a couple weeks ago. It was for the Witcher 3. Such a big book. It also came with another book with some valuable information. I could see myself reading through the smaller book, but the guide I will rarely use. Lol I just look stuff up on the Internet if I’m stuck or a bug comes up.
This though… Fuck it, I’ll go all out for MGSV.

Got the same book for free thanks to my GS connects. I’ve peeked at it once to see what they had in the character build section. lol I do like the fact that they come with a free digital version though. You have to sign up hut that was quick.

Qestion..does your mini book have an oddly super soft feel to it? I’ve never felt anything like that on a book before.
Yea both the strategy guide and the mini book feels like that. I just touched them to make sure it’s both. The New York State drivers license /ID Card used to feel softer than that and flexible too. A year ago they ditched those cards for traditionally harder plastic cards that break easily when bent.
But yea both books feel soft to the touch and nice to look at. I need a magnifying glass to read the text in the small book though. It’s as small as it is in the game. Too bad they can’t patch the book :/
Hmmm I wonder if the code on that back sheet of paper provides a digital version of that mini book too? That way you can just zoom.

Agreed, but due to the nature of TPP a guide would be very very helpful. Like finding out how to unlock certain things you have no idea how to, how to get certain items or herbs, how to complete side objectives you’ve spent forever trying to get, etc etc. I’ve looked up a few things for PW so having this around after I finish the story would be quite helpful.

Yup. Was a big issue for a lot of people when the trails first started. Small print! You will be fine if you just set a reminder. Ans remember it’s 30 days not a month. That caught people up too thinking they had a month but the month had 31 days and threw them off causing them to have to pay for another month.

True. I am not a collector myself (not because I don’t want to, I assure you) so I think I don’t see things this way anymore. I would like those albums that sometimes they sell with concept arts and stuff.
I’m someone who pretends like he is a collector, as I do not have enough money to be a “collector” so I only buy enough to make myself content in my collection, lol. My inability to be an insane collector in real life is what probably drives me to be such a completionist in the games I play, HAVE TO HAVE AND UNLOCK EVERYTHING! Even with a guide the internet is still the best choice for any information on games, it just takes a little bit for information to start flowing, so any guide is really only practical for the first week of release, and then after that anything you need to know will be found anywhere on the internet…… Here I am putting down something I’m putting my hard earned money on, lol.

I’m not sure have I ever bought a guide before, but I want this because of TPP :). Not meaning that I’ll use it all the time, maybe at some point after first/few playthroughs might check something. Finding things about this masterpiece on your own is the best of course.

Don’t know why, but it seems that 2015 is not just the New “80’s”, but a great yer both 80’s Movies Sequels and Video Games, i mean 80’s franchises like Mad Max: Fury Road, Terminator Genysis, Star Wars Episode VII, Jurasic World, and as for Video Games we have Witcher 3 which is already a Masterpiece, the only proven real enemy to TPP for GOTY, and we also have Arkham Knight, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Just Cause 3 and Mad Max!

Talking about 80’s Music, imagine Ocelot drunk as fukk doing the “Moonwalk” on this Jam at a Party at Mother Base…i mean we all know that they had parties at Mother Base in Peace Walker, so there will sure be some in MGSV as well, i mean is Kojima we’re talking about, we will see Quiet or Ocelot Drunk, hell maybe Raiden is the result of Ocelot and Quiet!

Yeah i mean he fights like Quiet, and has a bit of Ocelot’s Personality, so don’t get surprised if the “Sex” Rating is between Quiet and Ocelot, if they slowly start liking each other.
Now seriously, no joking, Ocelot was the one jumping when Kaz wanted to kill Quiet, and Big Boss is on the same page as Ocelot, and Ocelot looking surprised and shocked when Big Boss say’s “I’ll pull the trigger”, that shows that Ocelot is somehow attached to Quiet, not in love with her yet, but definitely considering her “Pretty Goooood”
So i do think that 1 of the possibilities opened by rescuing Quiet is for MGSV to have a Love Triangle in the Story between Snake Ocelot and Quiet, part of the Game that will show us another side of both Snake and Ocelot, whether they are “Brows before Hoes” and be happy for each other, or go as far as being jealous and fight because of her.
Kinda like how it is between Batman Superman and Wonder Woman.
The only limited edition item I have not pre ordered for MGSV is the PS4. It is just to expensive to order oversees but I might be able to get it if it’s localized over here. If so then I will have pre ordered everything MGSV…yeah so I am kinda going ALL out with this!
Hopefully, at E3, they will announce that the MGS V LE PS4 Console is coming over State side.
