New MGS Master Collection update adds higher resolutions
A new patch (Ver.2.0.0) for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 brings some new options, mainly the ability to play MGS2 and MGS3 in higher resolutions.
These settings will allow you to either play the games in its original resolutions, or upscale them to up to 4K, depending on your setup. As you may expect, the Nintendo Switch version will not have this option.
You can see some comparison stills and videos below.
Furthermore, the update also adds a ‘controller settings’ option, letting you assign buttons for each action.
Lastly, there are some fixes for ‘minor issues’, not specified further. To see the full breakdown of the update, head to the official website.
