Those who played MGSV:TPP will receive special items in Metal Gear Survive
Konami has announced that those who have played Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be able to obtain special items in Metal Gear Survive. These include nameplates, an eye patch and a Metal Gear RAY head.
Get Special Items from METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN !
Players who played METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN(MGSV:TPP) will be able to get their hands on some special items to use in METAL GEAR SURVIVE.

Accessory：Eyepatch
Accessory：Metal Gear RAY head
Condition
You need to have agreed to the Terms of Use in MGSV:TPP and started to play the game.
How to confirm if the condition is met
From the pause menu, if you can see the 9-digits CONTACT ID then you are all set to receive the items.
How to get the items
You receive the items by playing the release version of METAL GEAR SURVIVE using the same account you used to play MGSV:TPP.
*Once downloaded the items will be sent to the supply box.
*The Supply Box is accessible at Base Camp after a certain point in the story.
Konami later added: The special items will be rewarded to those who played MGSV:TPP as a stand-alone game and to those who played it as part of METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE DEFINITIVE EXPERIENCE.
Metal Gear Survive will release later this month on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

I dunno what they are thinking with these Metal Gear heads but the eye patch is gonna be a nice touch for my char 😀
Yeah and what does RAY have to do with MGSV? Sahelanthropus would have mode more sense (although RAY is a more iconic Metal Gear of course).
They already have Metal Gear REX Head for one of their promos.
Would’ve been nice if Survive scanned for Metal Gear Rising Revengance Save and gave us some MGRR Ray Head or the giant ant.

what about players who played the definigive experience?
Should be the case according to Konami (they’re double checking).
It’s pretty much the same code, kind of like how the HD collections were the same code as the substance/subsistance versions of the games.
Solid stuff, will probably use the MGO3, wonder if we’ll get a Peace walker circular ball head or the PW Basilisk mode rectangular head.
Oh and now that wormholes are confirmed to pull from all over time and space, we can get Gander and Raxa and the other noncanon metal gears.
Are there actually gamers out there who haven’t played TPP yet where survive would be their first foray into MGS, warranting the addition of such special items in the first place? I guess that I just find it weird that those who haven’t played TPP would try survive and Then maybe try TPP.

Hey. Nyxus. Do you know how to obtain the Gray Fox helmet? It says “Digital Deluxe pre-order version” will have it, but there’s no deluxe version on the PS Store. I’m a bit confused seeing as how the game comes out in a couple weeks. I thought, IDK why, it was coming late March, but what/e, I’m cool with its Feb. release. So, do I gotta wait until to put up a deluxe version or ?…
