Some new MGSV: The Phantom Pain screens show Snake in action
Konami has released several new screenshots for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, showing Snake sneaking through Afghanistan and using Fulton Recovery.

I hope they reveal whether or not the CO-OPS system will make a return from Peace Walker. Being able to play through pretty much the entire PW game with a friend and 4-player co-op boss battles was the best feature of the game, IMO. GZ would have been so much better with a CO-OPS system, and to me, it would be a huge misstep if it wasn’t implemented in TPP.
They said that there was some kind of co-op in Phantom Pain a while ago.

I would save it for Side-Ops 😀
They could do missions where you rescue prisoners or attacking an enemy base with 4 people.
But no main missions please. I don’t mind playing Snake for the whole story or Ocelot(Whenever Snake is on a mission)
After seeing Ground Zeroes. Kojima Productions has the perfect opportunity to make this game an amazing Single Player and Multiplayer experience!
Single Player for the open world goodness and amazing storyline.
Metal Gear Online: Multiplayer options like Deathmatch, CO-OP missions, and hopefully some sort of Mercenaries mode where you can use characters from past games, similar on what Portable Ops+ and Resident Evil has been doing for awhile now.
They already have a Rising Raiden skin for the engine. Let me use him for Metal Gear Online please!!!
Why not open co-op to the whole game? It was optional in PW whether to use it or not. Same as the pseudo MGO “VS” mode… make everyone happy!
Man, the best part of PW is to play almost the entire game with a friend. Too bad my friends are not always around for some PW action.
As much as i would love TPP to be the same way, since there’s another studio taking care of the online part of the game, i think it will not happen =(
The way they talk about being able to show off your mother base to other players online, and I think you can walk around in their base, It would be just too awesome to be able to trade like in PW.

I’m trying to take some impromptu Japanese class so I can understand just a bit of tomorrow’s Kojima Station. I’m that desperate for more info.
I will need some lessons too.
Co-op I don’t want, but I do want the ability to play as any soldier in your army like in Peace Walker. Since Kojima will most likely return as a recruit in TPP, it means we’ll be able to play as Kojima!
…As long as their is no Triangle of doom on TPP I can reserve my HORI Pad for Peace Walker.

Remember when this game was still called “Project Ogre”? 🙂 Seems like Kojima didn’t lie when he said it will be over 100 hours long.
I can totally see myself spend even more time on this.
It looks like every time I’ll start a mission, I’ll deviate to some side quest or random trial and return to Mother Base to check on it…
And then I’ll remember: “oops, totally forgot about saving Kaz… well, he’ll have to wait until I fulton some more sheep”.
Yeah, l spent 52 hours of total playing time on GZ. Imagine on TPP!

Sooooo…There’s new detail about the multiplayer in the game. It’s a-la Watch_Dogs and people can jump in your game and invade your mother base.
