Many people already heard it when watching the trailer, but Kojima officially confirmed on his Twitter that Troy Baker is voicing Ocelot in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Just given a private demo of #MGSV by @HIDEO_KOJIMA_EN himself! Today = awesome. A true honor to be involved with such an incredible game.

In previous games, Ocelot was voiced by Patric Zimmerman (MGS, MGS2, MGS4) and Josh Keaton (MGS3). The reason they chose a different voice actor this time around is probably because in this game Ocelot is in between his young version from MGS3 and his old version from MGS1 and up. However, Kojima didn’t elaborate in this, so it’s just guesswork for now.

when he says ‘NOW GO!’ to BB in the last trailer, i could definetly could see a young “Patric Zimmerman” type of voice
Yeah, he does sound like Ocelot, the way he talks, so I guess that’s good directing.
You forgot he’s also voicing The Joker in Arkham Origins and Delsin Rowe in inFAMOUS Second Son, both of which are highly anticipated (at least to me anyways).
