Voice actress for The Boss working on The Phantom Pain?
Will The Boss play a role in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’s story? In a flashback scene maybe? When a fan asked voice actress Lori Alan if she was working on The Phantom Pain, this was the answer he received:

While this is far from a confirmation, it most certainly isn’t a definite ‘no’ either. Of course, another possibility is that Alan was cast for another role, or maybe she simply wants to prevent giving anything away, but it’s still quite interesting.
The Boss appeared as Snake’s mentor and the game’s antagonist in Metal Gear Solid 3, got killed at the end, and returned as an AI in Peace Walker. If she is in The Phantom Pain, it will most likely be in some kind of flashback sequence or dream, or even a hallucination such as the ones seen in the hospital scene. Either way, all we can do now is speculate.

How awesome will it be to see Boss talking to Snake spiritually… like Vegeta did to Goku vs Freiza..
Well surely if she wasn’t working on it she would just say no. Maybe she will be in some tapes but I think she will just be part of an hallucination in the hospital scene big boss has gotten over her so probably nothing significant just a nice little cameo.

But please not a return as AI in a metal gear or whatsoever like in peace walker. thats been way to much. still hoping there will be a game about her in the events before snake eater. world war 2 era would perfectly fit, with her and the cobras.
But the game wouldn’t be called metal gear solid 6 or whatever… All MG games have a snake in them…. Hmmm what would it be titled?

you realize if there was a flashback scene big boss doesnt have to talk right? like there could be a flashback of the boss talking about something and thats the end of the scene. so relax.

I have a feeling they might a pull a Portable Ops on this one. One of The Boss disciples(or someone she trained with) or even a supposed successor will hunt down Snake and asked why he killed their master.
That would be cool though, plus they might reveal a few scenes from when The Boss was training Snake back then.
If this is the case. I think Quiet might be a “successor” to the Boss, or even have ties to her though The End. And when asked about Quiet, Kojima was quoted: “In the game, Quiet is the main heroine. Whether she’s friend or foe has yet to be revealed.” So it’s not unlikely that she might try to kill Big Boss.
I think Quiet is The End’s pet parrot. The End’s pet parrot wanted to avenge her master, so prayed to the forest spirits to turn her into a human, but had to sacrifice her ability to mimic voices, hence she became ‘Quiet’. Or not.
A hallucination seems likely. In a footage of the hospital scene, BB asks Ishmael where did the woman go, maybe referring to the Boss.
I believe he’s just referring to the nurse he sees when he first opens his eyes when awaking from the coma (seen in the GDC trailer) before everything goes to hell.
I, at first, thought he was talking about Paz.
It’s hard to imagine BB referring to the Boss as “the woman” LOL
And how else would he refer to her if he’s asking someone that doesn’t know her? Anyway, I watched the video again and now it seems like “the woman” is someone that tried to attack BB or something.
