3: Make her open the box

And this ladies and gentlemen, is next-gen. None of these c. box animations could be done in the past due to the limitation of the hardware. After all these years, we now have the ability to make these realistic c. box animations only possible by the power of the PS4. Ladies and gentlemen, this is MGSV! DUN-DU-DU-DUN!!

      SO this is nextgen exclusive?

      • ObsessedGeorge

Yup, only on next gen consoles!! Sorry PS360! 🙁

OMG fricken hilarious, I’m glad to see despite me not agreeing with 100% of what Kojima does, that he still the same awesome guy making awesome games, I was unsure about how much humour would still be in the game, but seeing and laughing at this, I no longer have any worries, lol.

    • Janeo

I’m surprised how much humour they have put in especially since they weren’t sure if they were going to use the cardboard box at least not in the usual way. I hardly ever use the cardboard box but this looks like it will be a lot of fun to mess around with and I can’t wait to see what kaz has to say about big boss using these tactics.

    • The guy who drowned quiet

the humour is so relieving but not the 4th wall breaking ps4 box.

  • Z!

    Hahahahaha

    Only in MGS!

A weapon to surpass Metal Gear…cardboard box.
I love you Kojima, only you can come up with something like this ^_^! Can’t wait to fool around with my enemies using these next gen C-box stealth abilities lol <3.

I want to go inside box too 😀

Woah wait. did I see a 100% fulton chance? YES!

    • BigBoss_88

Yeah love it how much it has evolved, but the thing I like too is that we don’t have to use it, if make things too easy sometime. Still..who wouldn’t wanna use such a sexy darn box. MGS is really the best stealth, because it gives so many different ways to approach target or sneak around :D.

      • No Place For Hayter

I honestly don’t think it makes things to easy, these are game developers and know what balance is, they don’t throw stuff together and hope it works.

I also have a rant for anyone thinking it makes things to easy, lol.
Just think about it from a actual game point of view, here they are most likely playing on the easiest difficulty with all upgrades, but when we play the game we won’t all pay on easy, and what we are seeing here is some of the final upgrades for the cardboard box, which we will have to be through most the game to get because we might need lv56 R&D to get, Also this is in no way making things any easier than they were before, that is what playboys were for in the older games, I don’t know why but a lot of people consider “more options = easier” when it is in no way like that, at most it will allow people to play the way they want and are most comfortable with, which allows them to play easier but it does not make the game itself any easier, people who consider something to over powered don’t see the whole picture and are simply saying so because they don’t like it, the best example is any multiplayer game, when people complain about something being over powered it is 95% time NOT, I really suck at multiplayer games and I am always at the receiving end of what is “over powered” but just because I don’t like it doesn’t mean it is in any way over powered.

Agreed though, and that is what my only and favorite thing about reflex mode is, being able to not use it.

        • BigBoss_88

I’m not trying to say it makes things too easy (but I guess I did kinda lol) :D, I will definitely use it non-stop xD. I’m sorry if I explained in weird way lol ;). Yes they keep the levels easy when demonstrating these things, slowmo on too etc.

Anyway I mostly meant other people, who might think that it’s too easy, just like with Fulton. Just because it looks like OP in their very first demonstration, don’t necessarily mean it’s like that in the actual game. But it’s good if dislike something like the Box, then don’t need to get it or just not use it.

I agree with what you posted about difficulty, just because if we got more options to do missions etc, don’t mean it’s easier. After playing GZ, I know that Hard+no reflex will give enough challenge for me. Also I’m sure we will need high R&D to get it :).

My favorite thing about reflex is that can turn it off lol.

          • No Place For Hayter

            Agreed.

Lol, yeah it was more of a general rant, I read your comment and thought about it and went HEY! and just started talking about it, lol.

  • ObsessedGeorge

I believe that this is off topic, but seriously… KOJIMA IS GOD!!!! DAMN GENIUS!!!!

  • Nekkedsnake

i love that the essence of MGS is kept intact with these new box tricks 😀

  • Ricardo Oe

Very cool all this variation of cardboard boxes, but in my opinion the MGS4 box was more objective and easy to use, I could be wrong, but we’ll see in online multiplayer.
