MGSV PS4 Pro update analyzed by EuroGamer

Website EuroGamer did an in-depth look at the PlayStation 4 Pro upgrade for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and concluded that it ultimately is no more than a ‘barebones’ update. The patch (released October 31st) bumps the resolution to 1440p and gives a slight performance boost at certain specific moments, but all in all it seems to be a very minimal upgrade.

Getting an Xbox One X soon. One of my copies is on that, so an update for it on there would be great. Konami though. Blarg.

    • They probably will release an update for it (the launch of the XBX could be the reason for the sudden release of this update). Just don’t expect too much from it. Maybe native 4K and solid 60FPS at all times.
