Kojima gives some details on his GDC presentation

As many Metal Gear fans already know, next week, March 27, Hideo Kojima and a few other members of his studio will head to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco to hold a presentation. The studio is now hard at work on the preparations, and Kojima provided some scarce details.

Kojima emphasized their (75 to 90 minutes) presentation will mostly be a technical demonstration of the Fox Engine, showing the rendering techniques of the brand new game engine. Among the people joining Kojima at GDC are a CG art director and a lighting artist, so that should give an indication about what to expect as well. But there will also be a trailer (presumably for Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes).

Not all is set in stone yet though, and Kojima is still going over the details.

For more information go here, the event will also be streamed live.

  • This would be a nice time to show what the engine can do on PS4… In that recent interview “Joakim” was very evasive when it came to that topic

  • NeoGafRepresentative.

    #teamCG

    • Agreed. All recent Kojima tweets point to that.

  • Alex

Im on #TeamReal, but would love to be on #TeamCG. I just cant suspend my disbelief enough; I need Kojima on stage blowing up the world’s mind to prove it 🙂
