Hideo Kojima opens new Kojima Productions studio

Today, it has been officially announced that Hideo Kojima has opened a new studio, once again called Kojima Productions. A website has been launched as well, which you can find here. And here is the studio’s logo:

“This is new studio’s logo. Looks like a medieval knight and also a space suit. It expresses the vision of “aiming the new world with the latest technology and pioneering spirit”. –  (Hideo Kojima)

GAME DESIGNER HIDEO KOJIMA OPENS NEW STUDIO: KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS

Tokyo, Japan, Dec 16, 2015- KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS announced today that it has officially opened its doors. Lead by award-winning game designer, HIDEO KOJIMA, the studio will begin focusing its efforts in developing products that will push the boundaries in innovation and ignite consumer interest worldwide.

We already knew several former staff members from Konami would be joining the studio, and now we have some names: concept artist Yoji Shinkawa, Kojima’s personal assistant Ayako Terashima and producer Kenichiro Imaizumi.

Last but not least, at the bottom of the page is the announcement of a store that is ‘coming soon’. We already know what item will be sold here in the future, as Kojima announced on Twitter that they are planning to sell the Kojima Productions t-shirts sporting the new logo (they can be seen worn by Shinkawa and Ayako on the photos above).
