Kojima has been on a trip to visit ‘people who supported MGSV TPP development’, launch commemoration video in the works
Over the past couple of days Hideo Kojima has been on what he calls his ‘V debriefing trip’, during which he visited several people who (most of them) were involved with the game’s production in one way or another. Below are his pictures of the trip as well as his comments.

Judging from Kojima’s comments a ‘9/1 launch commemoration video’ will also appear on September 1st, which will probably be posted on one of the official channels.

He has a very punchable face and I’ll never live down the fact that he got to hang out with Kojima AND play MGSV early.
He talks way too fast for me sometimes.
is just his personality… i dont see him being a shitty person ,is just the way he talks can sometimes sounds rude but i dont think he do it to hurt or annoy someone. i think he sometimes try too hard to look profesional or likeable and you can kinda notice that… i dont know.

Well, not for too long I guess. He is leaving soon. (At December I think.) I’m worried. Kojima will be ok, but if he is going to make games he will need to build a studio again, engine, development team, concept… Too much stuff to do. Basically he is going to waste some time again just to restructure new studio and don’t forget about a publisher… I can’t see Kojima going indie or at the kickstarter. He is too big for that.
If I was a HK I would drop video game development, because it is too hard… and that’s why I’m not HK.

Hi guys I want to share my 2 day experiance with mgsv. ( No spoilers ).
– Hospital scenes are so HARD and POWERFUL. You will be suprised. There are two scenes that will make you think ” ohh wait , this is twisted “. One of the best beginings in video games history I am telling you.
-This game is HUGE. So much to do , so much to develop , so much to find. Everything is smart and make sense. If you canot do special task of the missions that means you don;t have good equipment 🙂 Yes. Probably it is the first MGS game where itemes are not useless. Everything is important. For example. had a troble with 3 guards ( I want S rank for mision ). They see each other. What can I do… ah wait. I developed SMOKE GRANADE. Let;s throw it inside of that small group. Throwing… and what I see. Guards are choking , they don;t see shit. I started to run and made CQC Combo : ) No one saw me and the S Rank is Still there.
– A.I of the guards is something that you will not find in any games ! They think like online player ! I was testing my skill and started to shoot to everyone. They called backup. Ok I will wait for them… BUT WAIT wtf is this. The backup came from the other side of the camp and they are doing STEALTH against me !! they are not shooting they run low from behind ! I am telling you guys that in this game you will avoid guard of play during the night. It is so hard to do everything with only yranq gun. You must use technology , knocking , horse , everything that mother base gives you is important for S Rank. Kojima is a smart creator.
-Afganistan looks beautiful on ps4. It is not perfect but rocks and envronment is so beoutiful. I made so much photos.
-Story is very mysterious. You beeter listen to tapes. What characters are not saying in cutscenes you will find on tapes.
-Music and finding new tapes is one of the most addicting things.
-Mother base is small.You must try hard to develop new struts. 2 days is not enough to do this.
-And yes I found D-dog : ) But he is too small to combat for now 😀 I must wait more time.
-No sign of quiet yet xd 😀 ( scared ).
-Skulls for me are… never mind 😛

Ps4 can play music while you play games so you don’t need the ps3 system where you had to import the music into the game. I thought this would be your case as I had the same question 😉
its better the system in ps3 because it mute the game music. in ps4 the game music wont stop while you listen your usb or spotify music.

Actually, according to one of the users on the Steam forums, the physical disc of TPP only includes a 9MB installer. It seems that PC users will still have to download off Steam. Bummer.

full photo-realism gaming with any violence will never go down well, and it will only make it harder and harder for devs to share there vision, let alone get rated… and for the gaming community of the future i dont want to see them living in a PG gaming world 🙂

Yesterday i realized something too. I’ve been a fan since MGS and every time a new MGS game came out i would be so hyped while my friends were like “Yeah man good for you man” and meh. This is the reason why i didn’t notice this sooner but.. It’s not just fans hyping this time! My friends and colleges are all so frickin’ excited about TPP!! Today they remembered i’ve been playing MGS games since forever and are sending me messages to explain them the plot!!! XDD I’m was really fighting the urge of trolling them until i started explaining MGS2 and they genuinely thought i was trolling XDD This day of wait it’s actually going fast for me X) having soo much fun ^.^
In 1987, we felt quite alone hyping MG on MSX. The rom cartridge was not even available nearby. I live in France and it was only available in Paris in a market named Maubert Electronique Boutique, as a japan import.
Fortunately, after MG1 and MG2 on MSX2, Kojima and Konami decided to shoot the franchise as well on the PlayStation and MGS was born !! We were really lucky because a few more very capable Konami franchise’s had not this chance.

Same, I just 100% 2 days ago and extracted every unique character, though I’m sure we won’t have anything special for 100% it, waste of time? probably not I had fun.

I always wondered why they did that with the remaining download time, instead of saying you can play a tiny bit as it’s still downloading. Using the options button on the game menu isn’t very obvious to many.

I’ve asked this question before…will it follow any future Konami related mgs? Will it follow kojima work afterwards? Both? I petsonally don’t care as long as it still exists, but I am slightly saddened because I feel like this, right now and perhaps for a little bit after launch may be the largest this community may get, and most activity the community here sees.
We’ll have to see what happens, but for now the plan is to follow Konami’s MGS and Kojima’s endeavors both. And of course Metal Gear Online, which isn’t out yet.
