Konami accidentally publishes MGSV: The Phantom Pain E3 2014 trailer early
Konami accidentally published the Japanese Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain trailer earlier than planned. It has since been removed, but of course the cat’s out of the bag now. Copies of the video are popping up everywhere, and Konami seems to be on a mission to have them all taken down. Sites that posted the trailer are also requested to remove the trailer.
Update: It appears that the English version can be found on the web as well.
Metal Gear Informer will post the trailer once it’s officially out, which probably shouldn’t be long now. Just a little more patience…

Yes, this isn’t even the first time. Remember Metal Gear Rising, when we got the first trailer for the new build by Platinum Games? Was also leaked in advance. And yes, how can this happen with something this big? Good question.

Well, it would be amazing, and I know it’s a widespread theory, but this just doesn’t make sense. If you want to cypher a date here it would be 19.8.4 which is 19.8.2004. So it’s probably just Kojima trolling us :/

Well I found the trailer in English and it is amazing my heart is just pounding so fast kojima is the master of trailers. I have even more questions now so many interesting things, what the hell is big boss doing with skullface looks like he’s the one pointing there rage toward cipher so what does that mean for chico because he knows what skullface did. Well I’m not gonna be able to sleep tonight
Kojima said that will be able to understand a little bit more what happened to BigBoss at the end of GZ. Or, with this new trailer, I don’t think we are able to understang something new about it.
However, the trailer is just amazing, and i’m happy to see a BigBoss like that. Not just a spectator of the revenge, like we saw at the E3 trailer of next year. But now, he is the leader, and he will be without any mercy.
Now if they could just inadvertently release the 30 Minute Demo online my day will be complete

Hello everyone, first time posting here ;). I wanna say thanks to all you, especially Nyxus for doing amazing job! It’s relaly nice to have a site completely dedicated to MGS fans :D. I’ve been a fan of MGS since MGS1. Also
been reading Informer too for a long time and I thought it’s my
responsibility to make user here too ;D.
Anyway, I found out about this trailer leak few hours ago and I tried to resist and wait for E3 tomorrow…but couldn’t ’cause of super-hype. All I can say is the trailer is really AMAZING, so emotional. I mean like oh my god… it made me cry. I think I’m at loss of words…because it was so beautiful! Kojima-sensei picked the perfect song for it ;), definitely will be the best trailer of E3 !
It really is amazing I’m hoping kojima makes a last minute decision to put the gameplay online since the trailer got out early. I have been watching it over and over it’s just so emotional every time and so many little hints.

Wasn’t there Bowie’s 1984 also? Of course there is the Donna Burke stuff too, all the music has just been epic! (How does someone who Isn’t fluent in English pic some great English songs? Does Kojima understand English, but just can’t speak it fluently?) I have a hard time understanding Kojima’s English translations all the time.
I also spotted something- When BB is covered in blood screaming with smoldering remains all around him, the horn in is head looks really long. I am guessing he got it then after some kind of bomb blast or something. He had his metal arm already so I believe BB gets the horn after being in the hospital. I.E. the supposed helicopter crash or what put BB in a coma didn’t put the shrapnel in his head.
I also liked the ash symbolizing war paint, and the bloody BB reminds me of Apocalypse Now.
I can’t believe I didn’t know the song used in the trailer before…it’s amazing and fits with the emotional trailer perfectly :). I must say that Kojima-sensei has a great taste in music. The new song is Nuclear by Mike Oldfield. Kojima said that he wanted to start Ground Zeroes with David Bowie’s Diamond Dogs-song, but ended up choosing Here’s To You. I’m sure we will see a lot of great songs in TPP 😀 !

i’m guessing that the 1984 timestamp is just Kojima saying that the events of TPP will be happening in 1984. Tho some of the other theories are super exciting and would annihilate any other games happening this year!

well damn son, i was away from the internet since last tuesday, and look at all the stuff i was missing, don’t know where to start, so many great info, wow. But i gotta point out *SMALLSPOILER* that the choice of mike oldfield for the trailer music was amazing, i wasn’t expecting that at all i love oldfield’s music and even though the latest album isn’t one of my favorites that one song was one of the highlights i hope that it appears on the game though i doubt it since it is a modern song

No. That particular screen wasn’t in the trailer. In the Green/Red Band trailer, Ocelot was never shown to be facing Big Boss on opposite directions. I’m sure it’s gameplay, but I don’t know if it’s the actual 30-minute gameplay presentation that Kojima wants to exclusively show to the press, since it’s being shown at the Konami’s booth.

I watched the trailer at Sony’s E3, then I figured I would watch the leaked version, and I’m glad I did, wow Sony’s E3 version was missing some great stuff, thanks for this version. There is about a million really cool and awesome points in the trailer I would like to talk about but I will save it for an article about the trailer.
