Physical PS4 version of Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection out now in Europe

Following the release of the physical PS5, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series versions of the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection in October of last year, today Konami has released an additional disc version for PS4. Previously the game was only available digitally on PS4, and in fact, remains so in most regions, as this physical version will only be released in the EMEA region (that is Europe, Middle-East and Africa).

As the name implies, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is ‘the first installment of a collection that will mark the trajectory of the METAL GEAR series’, according to Konami. The game seems to have been a commercial success, pushing the Metal Gear series sales to nearly a million copies in the quarter in which it was released.
