Death Stranding is now available worldwide

Death Stranding, the first game from Kojima Productions as an independent studio, is now available worldwide. The title has been pretty divisive among critics, but the general consensus remains positive, with many reviewers noting the game is indeed something special.

The game also received quite a few perfect scores, among them from Japanese magazine Famitsu, which awarded the title with a 40/40 rating (for those who don’t know, games in this magazine are reviewed by four different people, which are then added up, hence the 40 scale).

In anticipation of the game’s release, Geoff Keighley interviewed Hideo Kojima and four members of the game’s cast: Norman Reedus, Troy Baker, Tommie Earl Jenkins and Lindsay Wagner.

In addition, PlayStation UK has released an Accolades Trailer for the game, citing some of the glowing praise it has received from the press. In terms of footage it’s basically a shorter version of the launch trailer, so if you’ve been avoiding that one it may be best to steer clear of this video as well.

The PlayStation Europe channel also released a series of videos featuring short interviews with Kojima about various elements of the game.
