Kojima: I can’t say if Solid Snake will be in MGSV
Kojima does not want to confirm whether or not Solid Snake will make an appearance in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. When asked in an interview by Jeux Video Magazine, he explained it wouldn’t be fun for the fans if he talked about it in any way, and he would rather keep the surprise for the player.
Eli, from the Metal Gear Solid V E3 trailer
Whether Solid Snake will be in the game or not has been a hot topic among fans. Many people believe the character shown in the latest trailer, Eli, is actually a young Liquid Snake. Could Solid Snake also be in the game? We probably won’t find out until much later.

Good!! I hate spoilers!
there’ll be young solid too. david and eli. 🙂
I hate you now! LOL
Has to be. No liquid without solid, or even solidus. Anyway, since the game’s early in development that it won’t be released soon, there’s still a good chance we’ll see solid snake so don’t cross your fingers yet.
It’s been in development since 2011. I don’t think it’s that early.
Even though it’s been in development for that time, that doesn’t mean actual mo cap started then also. My guess is that they started mo cap early 2012 or even the last few months of 2011 and for a game MGS V’s size it would take at least two years for mocap so we won’t be seeing the game hit stores until late 2014 or sometime before mid 2015 the earliest… I just know it. In fact there was a recent article that showed some mo cap equipment Kojima is using and a schedule with the caption ‘We are behind the schedule’ so my guess seems about right since they obviously still have lotta work to do.
definitely Solid and Liquid.
i do wish they at least give us a glimpse with Solidus Snake 😛
He wouldn’t said “I don’t know, won’t say because spoilers” if he didn’t think he could be on the game. This is pretty much a way of confirming it without feeling like he ruin it.
The sentence is misundertood: ‘I can’t say IF. Solid Snake WILL BE in MGSV!’
but solid dosen´t know about liqud till metal gear solid to the ps one so we won´t see them at the same time or in same place
