Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been out now for exactly one month, and the official Metal Gear Twitter account posted a few tweets, looking back at the past month, and at what is yet to come.
Today is the one month anniversary of the release of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. It’s been amazing so far, but there’s more to see. FOB missions continue strong and on the sixth, consoles get to play Metal Gear Online our team v team multiplayer. Jan 2016 marks the release of Metal Gear Online for PC/Steam and we’re working on more fun community activities along the way! We also announced costume DLC at Tokyo Game Show including call backs to Big Boss’ debut in MGS3. More details on that later.
Today is a special day for fans and the dev teams in LA and Tokyo alike; as well as all the hard working Konami staff across the world. Thank you for all your continued support and kind words–it’s for the fans this game was made and through you it continues to thrive. Oh by the way…keep a close eye @MetalGearOnline today…more than a couple of things are on their agenda for 10/1.

Today we’re hosting 16 guests at the LA Studio to play Metal Gear Online, talk with devs and share there impressions with all of you. Everyone will be playing the game throughout the day and give out initial impressions or answer questions around 4 PM PDT. Be sure to follow and more!
