Death Stranding has surpassed 16 million players

Death Stranding has now surpassed 16 million players across all platforms, Kojima Productions has revealed in a new press release about the Death Stranding movie. In the release published on the company’s official website, it was announced Kojima Productions will team up with movie studio A24 to create the live action Death Stranding movie that was announced last year. One paragraph focuses on the game, providing the updated player number.

The previous number revealed was 10 million, from a year ago, so it seems the game is stil drawing in new players. A sequel is currently in development for PlayStation 5.
